Mdg has distinguished itself by winning many awards which are listed below:

1984 Mid-Cheshire Theatre Guild (MCTG) award for dramatic achievement for 'Celebration' by Waterhouse & Hall.

1985

MCTG award for best overall production for 'Confusions' by Alan Ayckbourn, best supporting actor Duncan McGregor in 'Confusions' and best set for 'Hobson's Choice'.
1985

Cheshire Community Council (CCC) award for best One-Act play for 'Gosforth's Fete'.

1987

MCTG award for best supporting actor - Tony Bantock in 'The Anniversary'.

1988

CCC award for an outstanding piece of theatrecraft jointly for the presentation of 'Oh What a Lovely War' and 'When We are Married'.

1989

CCC Peter Dornford May award for 'A Voyage Round My Father'.

1989

MCTG awards for best overall production for 'A Voyage Round My Father' and best director Sheila Wych.

1990

MCTG awards for best overall production for 'Nicholas Nickleby', best director - Sheila Wych and best supporting actor Robert Meadows in 'Nicholas Nickleby'.

CCC Lancelyn Green award for an original piece of theatre for 'A Rough and Ready Lot' by Robert Meadows.

CCC Armada Bowl award for Best Production of the year for 'Stepping Out'.

CCC award for an original piece of theatre for 'The Rocking' by Robert Meadows.
