Use of 'Safety Socket' covers.

These plug in 13A socket covers are sold by many outlets undr the guise of increasing the safty of electrical socket outlets. Sometimes Local Authority Health & Safety inspectors recommend or even demand their use.

These so called Safety Covers may in fact decrease the safety of a 13A socket to the relevant British Standard (BS1363). They should NOT be used.
