Sandcastles Bob Larby Directed by Sue Green Bob Larby is the writer of A Month of Sundays, Ever Decreasing Circles and A Fine Romance and other well known plays |
An elderly couple, who holiday in the same place every year and own their own beach hut, await the annual arrival of the awful Billet family, whilst wondering also what has happened to the Woodersons who haven't been seen on the beach for years. When the Billets arrive with a recently single Pauline who's rather on the rebound and then come not the Woodersons but 'renters' - the affable Doug and his two nieces - the scene is set for a gentle and well-observed comedy that will undoubtedly appeal to all. A dispute about the ownership of sand in front of the beach huts soon breaks out |

AN EXPERIMENT WITH AN AIR PUMP by Shelagh Stephenson Directed by Robert Meadows |
The plot takes place in the same house in two different time periods divided by the gap of two hundred years (1799 and 1999). It is a tale of seduction and suspense with some questions about medical research. A skeleton is found in the basement. The skipping between the two time periods creates a great deal of suspense - whose corpse is it? Was the person murdered? |
