Mr Wonderful was directed by Sheila Hetherington and played to full houses between Tuesday 6 March and Saturday 10 March 2007.

Precis:

Norma Green is in her mid 40s outwardly she seems strong and purposeful but underneath she senses her best years are slipping away as she holds down a factory job whilst caring for her mother who is slipping into dementia. Norma has signed up to a dating agency in her quest for a Mr Wonderful. She meets the boring Eric Box who owns a DIY business and who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of his stock. He is replaced by Geoff Lazenby, a well educated and polished man but with an over inflated ego. The last date is with Lop Wink, a cycling fanatic.
Meanwhile Norma's mother, Phoebe, is dreading the day Norma will leave for her Mr Wonderful. Phoebe discovers the secret of one of Norma's dates, which prompts her daughter to arrange a fitting retribution
