ANIMAL
FARM
As you probably know the autumn play will be Animal Farm, an adaptation of
George Orwell's well known work, directed by Derek Morris. As part of the design
and presentation Derek wishes all cast members to wear masks and to this end
a mask making workshop will be held in the Village Hall on Saturday 18 September.
This will be lead by a member of the Royal Exchange Design team. If you are
willing to take part in the workshop and subsequently the production team please
Derek know NOW.
PLAYS
FOR 2004/2005/2006
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN DIRECTING A PLAY DURING THE NEXT YEAR OR SO?
If so the committee would like to hear from you soon. Please suggest at least
2 plays for consideration at the committee meeting which will be held on Monday
4 October. Also please say whether you are not available at any particular
time of year. In making their choices the committee will have to take into
account play's suitability for inclusion as part of a season's programme. Plays
to Sheila by 2nd October please.
TABLE

Our next fund raising event will be held in the morning on Saturday 9th October

CHRISTMAS DINNER
Members have requested that this year we hold our annual dinner before
Christmas rather than in the New Year, so we have booked 40 places
at The Smoker at Plumley. Joan Christie will be organising as usual
and the price will be approx. £19 per person. Names to Joan
as soon as you can please.
