Hello All

THE STOP PRESS NEWS is that Robert Meadows will be directing our next play which is scheduled to take place 10-14 March 2009.  The play will be AN EXPERIMENT WITH AN AIR PUMP by Shelagh Stephenson.  Robert is looking for 10 actors who look between 20 – 50 years old so if you're interested in finding out what the play is all about please come along to a read through on Tuesday 18 November at 7.30pm or if you can't call Robert on 01606 551453.  The auditions will be held on Tuesday 2 December.

On Tuesdays 11th and 25th there will be play readings.  The one on the 25th will be of the female version of THE ODD COUPLE which is a play Derek Morris is considering for production in the spring.

Thanks to those who supported the Top Secret Evening which we held in September, particularly Lynda and Tony Bantock for preparing such a delicious themed meal & Derek and others who worked on the bar.  The evening raised approximately £350 (plus bar profit) & seemed to be enjoyed by everyone there.

Derek has 2 theatre trips planned.  The first will be to see SEE HOW THEY Run at the Royal Exchange in January and the usual London Trip in March.  If you are interested in going along to either please contact Derek NOW.

Congratulations to all involved with SAND CASTLES which ends on Saturday.  Well done Sue & crew!  The play has been very successful and lots of tickets have been sold.  Many thanks to Christine & Richard for running the box office.  Their job has been made harder by the fact that we have been sold out for the first time for a long while.
