Silver Jubilee Year - 2006

An evening of reminiscences on Tuesday 13 June 2006 was attended by many members and friends.

Richard Kirkham and Sheila Hetherington compered the evening.

Richard began by describing the formation of the group at a meeting convened by MADCA

An excerpt from Mdg's first production "Billy Liar" was performed by members of the original cast together with one of the newest members, Alan Gill, reading the part of Billy.

Next came an excerpt from Mdg's only musical "Oliver" which was directed by Jack Hetherington and which brought in youngsters from Moulton School.

Here Glen Hargreaves together with supporting chorus Bev & Karen perform Oom Pah Pah which was sung by Chris Davies in the original production
